OVERVIEW

Jesus came that we may have life and have it to the full (John 10:10). This means reaching our maximum potential and becoming the best that we can be. This is the Good News Jesus offers. He calls us receive it and to share it with others. The Confirmation Classes are aimed at unpacking for the Confirmandi what it means to RECEIVE this good news (Part 1) and what it means to SHARE this good news (Part 2)

In order to reach our maximum potential, Jesus gave us commandments that enable us to live perfectly. 

Knowing our limitations, he sends the Spirit to help us with his power. 

The Spirit gives us abilities (gifts) to live up to what Jesus expects and when we do so, our transformation becomes evident in our lives (fruits).

PART 1: SALVATION - Receiving the Good News

Part 1 is intended to unpack for the Confirmandi what it means to RECEIVE that Good News. The Bible describes receiving this good news as SALVATION - becoming perfectly the person we were created to be, unlimited by evil, sin, and death.
